Recommendations

For adventure enthusiasts, rafting in the Zanskar River is a must-do activity. The river descends from the Himalayas and offers rapids ranging from Grade I to Grade V. You can also consider a day trip to Tso Moriri, a high altitude lake that is less explored than Pangong Tso. Another option is to ride to Kargil and visit the Drass War Memorial, which commemorates the martyrs of the 1999 Kargil War. Remember to carry warm clothes and rain gear as the weather in Ladakh can be unpredictable.
