Srinagar Bachelorette Party Itinerary - August 2023

  1. Day 1: Dal Lake
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Srinagar International Airport

    Start your day by indulging in a Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake. Witness the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, floating gardens, and the iconic houseboats. After the ride, head over to the Hazratbal Shrine to offer prayers. In the afternoon, visit the Shankaracharya temple which is located on top of a hill, providing stunning panoramic views of the city. End the day with some souvenir shopping at the floating market.

  2. Day 2: Pari Mahal and Mughal Gardens
    20 minutes (7.3 km) from Dal Lake

    Start the day by visiting the Pari Mahal, a seven terraced garden that was once a Buddhist monastery. The garden offers breathtaking views of the city and the Dal Lake. In the afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens which includes Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi garden. The gardens are known for their vibrant flowers, fountains, and stunning architecture. In the evening, head over to the Boulevard Road for dinner, live music, and some hookah.

  3. Day 3: Sonamarg and Dachigam National Park
    2 hours and 30 minutes (80 km) from Srinagar

    Take a day trip to Sonamarg, which is known as the "Meadow of Gold". Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Thajiwas Glacier and take a pony ride through the lush green meadows. After lunch, head over to the Dachigam National Park, which is home to the endangered Hangul deer and other Himalayan wildlife. Go for a hike in the park and enjoy the serene beauty of nature. End the day with some authentic Kashmiri cuisine at a local restaurant.
