Transportation

Travel between cities by car is the easiest way to get around Morocco. Hiring a private driver is an option, but renting a car or using public transportation is more budget-friendly. Train travel is preferred for longer distances, but not all cities are connected by rail.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, consider visiting the Sahara Desert or the coastal city of Essaouira. If you have less time, consider cutting out Kenitra or El Jadida from the itinerary. Remember to haggle with street vendors and in souks to get the best prices on souvenirs. Bring comfortable shoes for walking on uneven terrain in medinas and hiking.

Airports

Morocco has several international airports, but the most common entry points for tourists are Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca (CMN), Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK), and Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG). Mohammed V International is the busiest airport in the country and is located 25 minutes away from Casablanca city center.
