Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to see more of Kerala's amazing wildlife. You could also take a trip to the backwaters for a peaceful boat ride and a chance to see traditional village life. To maximize your volunteering experience, be sure to bring comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes, as well as sunscreen and insect repellent. And don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste!
