3-Day Itinerary for Nabadwip in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Religious Sites of Nabadwip

    In the morning, visit the famous ISKCON temple and seek the blessings of Lord Krishna. After that, head to the Nabadwip Dham which is a complex of nine Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Krishna. In the afternoon, explore the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu at Mayapur. Later, visit the Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math to experience the rich history of this religious site. In the evening, witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at the banks of the Ganges river.

  2. Day 2: Discover the History and Culture of Nabadwip
    15 minutes (6.6 km) from Nabadwip Dham

    Start your day by visiting the Nabadwip Rajbari Palace, which was once the residence of the kings of Nabadwip. In the afternoon, take a stroll around the Krishnanagar Palace, which is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens. Afterward, explore the Krishnanagar Museum which houses a vast collection of artifacts showcasing the history and culture of the region. In the evening, visit the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math and indulge in some soulful devotional music.

  3. Day 3: Nature and Wildlife of Nabadwip
    1 hour 20 minutes (58.5 km) from Nabadwip Rajbari Palace

    Begin your day by visiting the Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including elephants, deer, and monkeys. In the afternoon, head to the Jalangi River bank and enjoy a picnic amidst the serene surroundings. You can also take a boat ride or go fishing here. In the evening, visit the Nabadwip Bakultala Garden and witness the beautiful display of fountains and colorful lights.

If you have extra time, visit the Sri Chaitanya Math, which is an ashram dedicated to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
