Recommendations

If you have time, you can consider visiting the Masrur rock-cut temple, a unique architectural marvel located near Kangra, which showcases the temple architecture of the 8th century. Another side trip worth considering is visiting the Chamera Lake in Dalhousie, which is a beautiful place to visit during sunset.
To maximize your fun, try to plan your itinerary according to the opening and closing times of the places, as some places close early or are not open every day. Also, try to take a guided tour of the Dalai Lama Temple complex to learn more about the history and culture of the place.
Lastly, don't forget to try the local cuisine, such as momos, thukpa, and butter tea, which are popular in the region.
