3-Day Nature Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary
    1-hour 20-minutes (38.4 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to tigers, leopards, deer, and various species of birds. Take a guided safari tour to explore the sanctuary, and keep an eye out for exotic animals. In the afternoon, visit Tambdi Surla Temple, an ancient temple built in the 12th century, which is located within the sanctuary. Finish the day by experiencing the Dudhsagar Waterfall, which is a four-tiered waterfall and is one of the tallest waterfalls in India.

  2. Day 2: Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary
    1-hour 30-minutes (42.7 miles) from Dudhsagar Waterfall

    Start the day by visiting Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, which is famous for its dense forest and various species of birds, including the Malabar pied hornbill. Take a guided trek to explore the sanctuary and spot animals like gaurs, leopards, and sloth bears. In the afternoon, head to Palolem Beach, which is a beautiful and serene beach located in the southern part of Goa. Enjoy a swim in the clear water, sunbathe on the soft sand, and indulge in some local cuisine. End your day by enjoying the sunset and taking a stroll along the beach.

  3. Day 3: Mollem National Park
    1-hour 18-minutes (33.8 miles) from Palolem Beach
