5-Day Adventure Itinerary for Manali in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Solang Valley
    30 minutes (10.3 miles) from Manali

    In the morning, go for a thrilling zipline ride and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, try paragliding and feel the adrenaline rush as you soar above the valley. End the day with a relaxing walk along the river.

  2. Day 2: Beas Kund Trek

    Embark on a trek to Beas Kund, a glacial lake located at the top of the mountain. Take in the breathtaking views of the Himalayan range along the way. In the evening, relax in the hot springs at Vashisth Temple.

  3. Day 3: Hampta Pass Trek
    1 hour 15 minutes (39.4 miles) from Beas Kund Trek

    Start the day with a scenic drive to Jobra, the starting point of the Hampta Pass Trek. Trek through the beautiful landscape of the Himalayan mountains, pass through lush green valleys, and camp under the starry night sky.

  4. Day 4: Great Himalayan National Park
    3 hours 15 minutes (91.6 miles) from Hampta Pass Trek

    Explore the Great Himalayan National Park and spot some of the unique flora and fauna of the region. Take a guided hike through the forest and learn about the local culture and traditions. End the day with a bonfire and stargazing at the park.

  5. Day 5: Tirthan Valley
    2 hours 30 minutes (65.2 miles) from Great Himalayan National Park

    Spend the day at the picturesque Tirthan Valley, known for its trout fishing and scenic views. Visit the waterfall and hike through the valley. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Himachali meal and relax by the riverside.

Recommendations

Aside from the itinerary, you may want to check out the Rohtang Pass, which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan range and is accessible only during June to September. You can also visit the Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara and take a dip in the hot springs. For a side trip, consider visiting the nearby town of Naggar, which has a beautiful castle and art museum. To maximize your fun, make sure to bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes for the treks. You may also want to hire a local guide to get the most out of your adventure.
