Transportation

Getting around Disney World is made convenient with different modes, with free parking and shuttle busses available for travelers. However, without their personal vehicle, a good option to save money is to use the shuttle services or to rent a scooter or wheelchair. Going from park to park is quickly done through the available shuttles, while a scooter or wheelchair can be rented and delivered during hotel stay.

Useful Tips

If you have additional time, you can take a Disney resort tour, which will take you to several of the hotel properties in the area, including the Grand Floridian, which features a 5-star spa treatment by appointment only. The primary airport in the Orlando area is the Orlando International Airport with an airport code of MCO. It is located approximately 18 miles from the downtown area of Orlando. It's the second-busiest airport in Florida but it's easy to navigate with a multitude of on-site restaurants and shops for snacks and souvenirs.
