4-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    42 minutes (12.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your first day in Goa by soaking up the sun at Calangute Beach. Enjoy a morning swim and take a stroll along the shoreline. In the afternoon, head over to the Tibetan Market for some unique souvenirs and local snacks. As evening approaches, make your way to St. Alex Church for a beautiful sunset. This church is a great example of Portuguese architecture and is a must-see while in Goa.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 13 minutes (76.8 km) from Calangute Beach

    On day 2, take a trip to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery and make for a beautiful sight. In the morning, take a dip in the cool waters of the falls and relax for a bit. In the afternoon, head over to the Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the evening, return to your hotel to relax and recharge for the next day.

  3. Day 3: Fort Aguada
    40 minutes (16.5 km) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Start your day by visiting Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort that offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, visit the Reis Magos Fort, another fort that offers beautiful views of the sea. In the evening, take a walk through the Latin Quarter of Panaji, a district filled with bright colours, colonial architecture and traditional bakeries.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Flea Market
    25 minutes (8.9 km) from Fort Aguada

    On your last day in Goa, visit the Anjuna Flea Market, a lively market that sells everything from handmade crafts to spices. In the afternoon, visit the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, a 16th-century church that is one of the oldest in Goa. In the evening, head to Baga Beach to relax and enjoy the sunset.

If you have time, consider taking a side trip to the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, a beautiful nature reserve that is home to many species of birds. You can also take a day trip to Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is filled with beautiful churches and architecture. To maximize your fun, try out some water sports like parasailing or jet skiing. If you're looking for a unique experience, take a sunset river cruise along the Mandovi River.
