3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Rishikesh and Haridwar in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Rishikesh
    Depart from Haridwar, 30 minutes (20.7 km) from Haridwar Railway Station

    In the morning, go on a thrilling white water rafting adventure on the Ganges, an experience not to be missed in Rishikesh. For lunch, try some local food at Chotiwala Restaurant, known for its delicious thalis. Afternoon activities include bungee jumping or zip-lining at Jumpin Heights. End the day by attending the evening aarti ceremony at Triveni Ghat, a beautiful and serene experience.

  2. Day 2: Haridwar
    Depart from Rishikesh, 35 minutes (21.6 km) from Laxman Jhula

    Start the day with a visit to Har ki Pauri, a famous ghat on the Ganges, and take part in the morning aarti ceremony. Afterward, visit Mansa Devi Temple, a popular pilgrimage site and enjoy the scenic views from the top of the hill.     Start the day with a yoga and meditation session in one of the many ashrams in Rishikesh that offer classes for all levels. Afterward, visit Neer Garh Waterfall, a hidden gem surrounded by greenery. For lunch, try some Israeli food at Little Buddha Cafe. In the afternoon, go for a hike to the Beatles Ashram, a peaceful and surreal place where the Beatles once stayed. End the day by watching the sunset at Parmarth Niketan, one of the most beautiful ghats in Rishikesh.
