3-Day Itinerary for Danang, Vietnam

  1. Day 1: Marble Mountains
    25 minutes (8.5km) from Danang International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills. Take the elevator or climb the steps to visit the temples and caves, and enjoy the panoramic view of the coast from the top. In the afternoon, explore Non Nuoc Beach where you can enjoy relaxing on the beach or taking a dip in the sea. In the evening, go to Dragon Bridge, which spans the Han River, to watch the fire-breathing and water-spraying show.

  2. Day 2: Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge
    1 hour 30 minutes (40km) from Marble Mountains

    Spend the day at Ba Na Hills, a mountain resort with French colonial architecture and beautiful gardens. Take the cable car to reach the resort, and visit the Fantasy Park, Wax Museum, and Debay Wine Cellar. Walk along the Golden Bridge, a pedestrian bridge that curves around a mountain and offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. In the evening, return to Danang and have dinner at one of the street food markets.

  3. Day 3: My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Ancient Town
    1 hour 15 minutes (43km) from Ba Na Hills

    Visit My Son Sanctuary, a Unesco World Heritage site that is a collection of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD. Learn about the Champa Kingdom, which ruled Central Vietnam for over a millennium. In the afternoon, explore Hoi An Ancient Town, a well-preserved trading port from the 15th to the 19th century. Walk around the narrow streets, admire the traditional architecture, and visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Assembly Hall of the Fujian Chinese Congregation, and the Tan Ky Old House. End the day with a sunset boat ride along the Thu Bon River.

If you have more time, you can also visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Danang, the Lady Buddha statue on Son Tra Peninsula, or the Hai Van Pass, which offers stunning views of the coastline.
