2-Day Shoestring Budget Itinerary for Nashik, Maharashtra, India in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Sula Vineyards
    18 minutes (6.5 km) from Nashik city centre

    Start your morning early with a visit to Sula Vineyards, India's leading winery. Take a guided tour of the vineyard and learn about the winemaking process. Sample some of their famous wines and enjoy a light breakfast at the vineyard's restaurant. Spend the afternoon exploring the vineyard's beautiful estate, take a dip in the swimming pool or relax at the amphitheatre. In the evening, head to the vineyard's tasting room and enjoy some more wine while watching the sunset over the vineyards.

  2. Day 2: Pandavleni Caves
    20 minutes (7.8 km) from Nashik city centre

    Start your morning with a visit to the Pandavleni Caves, a group of 24 rock-cut caves dating back to 1st century BC. Take a guided tour of the caves and learn about their architectural significance. Afternoon, visit the Nashik City Centre Mall, one of the biggest malls in the city, for some shopping and lunch. In the evening, visit the Sita Gumpha, a cave temple dedicated to Goddess Sita, located near the Pandavleni Caves. Take part in the evening aarti, a Hindu religious ritual, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

If you have some extra time, you can also visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. You can also take a day trip to the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, located 87 km from Nashik.
