5-Day Itinerary for Goa in December 2023

  1. Day 1: Old Goa
    20 minutes (8.5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral in the morning. Have lunch at one of the local restaurants and then visit the Museum of Christian Art in the afternoon. In the evening, take a stroll at Miramar Beach and watch the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (39 miles) from Old Goa

    Spend the morning at Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the refreshing waters and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant and then take a Jeep safari to the spice plantations in the afternoon. In the evening, return back to Old Goa.

  3. Day 3: Panaji
    20 minutes (7 miles) from Old Goa

    Start the day with a visit to the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception in Panaji. Take a walk through the Latin Quarter and enjoy the unique Portuguese architecture. Have lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Goa State Museum in the afternoon. In the evening, take a river cruise on Mandovi River.

  4. Day 4: Baga Beach
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Panaji

    Spend the morning at the popular Baga Beach. Enjoy water sports such as parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant and then visit the Saturday Night Market in the evening. Shop for souvenirs, clothes, and jewelry.

  5. Day 5: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (7 miles) from Baga Beach

    Explore the historic Fort Aguada in the morning. Enjoy the scenic views of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant and then visit the Chapora Fort in the afternoon. In the evening, relax at Anjuna Beach and enjoy the sunset.
