Recommendations

If you have more time, you can also visit the nearby Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur or the Jain temples in Ranakpur. A side trip to the desert city of Jaisalmer can also be a unique and enjoyable experience. To maximize your fun, try the local cuisine, which includes dal bati churma, gatte ki sabzi, and pyaaz ki kachori. We also recommend trying some traditional Rajasthani sweets such as ghewar and mawa kachori. Don't forget to carry sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses as it can get quite hot during the day in July.
