  1. Day 1: Amber Fort
    30 minutes (11km) from Jaipur Airport

    Start your day exploring the stunning Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most iconic landmarks of Jaipur. The fort is made of red sandstone and marble, and it is situated on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake. You can start by visiting the Diwan-i-Aam or the Hall of Public Audience, where the king used to address the public. Then, head to the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Mirrors, which is adorned with thousands of tiny mirrors. In the afternoon, explore the gardens and courtyards of the fort and marvel at the intricate carvings and architecture. In the evening, attend the Sound and Light Show that projects the history of the fort.

    Visit the City Palace, a stunning complex of palaces, gardens, and courtyards that served as the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Start by visiting the Mubarak Mahal or the Welcome Palace, which now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum. The museum has an impressive collection of royal costumes, weapons, and artworks.
