4-Day Adventure Itinerary for Jibhi in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Serene Jibhi Valley
    5 minutes (0.5 miles) from Jibhi Bus Stop

    In the morning, take a leisurely stroll through the Jibhi village, soak in the tranquil environment and admire the traditional wooden houses. Head to the Chaini Kothi Fort, a 400-year-old fort that is beautifully constructed with stones and wood. In the afternoon, visit the Chehni Kothi, one of the tallest standing structures of its kind in the Western Himalayas. Take a trek to the nearby Shringa Rishi Temple and learn about the local legends and culture. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire with some local music and delicacies.

  2. Day 2: Trek to the Serolsar Lake
    1 hour 30 minutes (7 miles) from Jibhi Village

    In the morning, drive to Jalori Pass and trek to the Serolsar Lake, surrounded by dense forest and serene hills. The trek is moderate and takes around 3 hours to reach. Take a dip in the pristine waters of the lake and enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, trek back to Jalori Pass and visit the Mahakali Temple. Witness the spectacular view of the sunset over the Himalayas. In the evening, relax at the guest house and savor the local cuisine.

  3. Day 3: River Rafting and Nature Walks
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Jibhi Village

    In the morning, head to the Tirthan Valley and go for a thrilling river rafting experience in the crystal clear waters of the Tirthan River. After lunch, take a nature walk through the Great Himalayan National Park, home to a diverse range of flora, fauna, and birds. In the evening, return to Jibhi and unwind at a local cafe with some hot chai and snacks.

  4. Day 4: Paragliding and Departure
    1 hour 30 minutes (45 miles) from Jibhi Village

    In the morning, drive to Bir-Billing, a famous paragliding site. Take a tandem paragliding flight and soar above the picturesque landscape, enjoying the bird's eye view of the valley. After lunch, visit the Chokling Monastery and the Bir Tea Factory. In the evening, depart for your next destination.
