3-Day Itinerary for Goa, India

  1. Day 1: Explore Old Goa
    30 minutes (10.3 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Afterwards, head to the Se Cathedral, the largest church in Asia. In the afternoon, explore the Museum of Christian Art, which houses a collection of artifacts from the Portuguese colonial period. For the evening, stroll along the Mandovi River and watch the sunset at Miramar Beach.

  2. Day 2: Beach Day in North Goa
    1 hour (17.6 miles) from Old Goa

    Start your morning with a visit to Aguada Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fort overlooking the Arabian Sea. Then, head to Calangute Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa, for swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon, drive to nearby Anjuna Beach and explore the Wednesday Flea Market, where you can find handicrafts, jewelry, and souvenirs. End your day with a sunset at Vagator Beach, known for its stunning cliff views.

  3. Day 3: South Goa Temples and Spice Plantations
    1 hour 30 minutes (33.5 miles) from North Goa Beaches

    Spend your morning visiting the Shri Mangueshi Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the Shantadurga Temple, dedicated to the goddess of peace and harmony. In the afternoon, head to the Sahakari Spice Farm for a guided tour and tasting of local spices. End your day with a relaxing sunset cruise along the Sal River.
