Transportation

Transportation in Kuala Lumpur is relatively cheap with extensive public transport, including buses, taxis, the LRT & MRT. For this itinerary, I recommend using online ride-hailing services like Grab or utilizing public transportation to move around Kuala Lumpur. Taxis are common, but make sure to confirm the fare before boarding. Expect to pay RM5-15 for shorter distances and RM20-30 for longer rides.

Useful Tips

If you have extra time, consider visiting the KL Bird Park or the National Mosque. If you have less time, you can skip the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery or Merdeka Square. It's best to start your day early to beat the crowd and maximize the time spent at each attraction.

Airports

Kuala Lumpur's primary airport is Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), located approximately 45 km south of the city center. It has various transportation services such as the KLIA Express, shuttle buses, and taxis for your convenience. The second airport, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB), is much closer to the city, located approximately 30km northwest of the center.
