3-Day Bali Adventure Itinerary in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking
    1.5 hours (38.2 miles) from Ngurah Rai International Airport

    In the early morning, around 2 am, you will be picked up from your hotel to start your trekking adventure. The trek to the summit of Mount Batur takes around 2 hours and is a challenging but rewarding climb. As you reach the top, you will witness a stunning sunrise while enjoying breakfast cooked over volcanic steam. Afterward, you will descend the mountain and visit a coffee plantation before returning to your hotel for a well-deserved rest. In the afternoon, you can explore the nearby town of Ubud, known for its rich culture and beautiful scenery. In the evening, why not try a traditional Balinese dance performance?

  2. Day 2: Ayung River Rafting and Tegalalang Rice Terraces
    1 hour 20 minutes (22.2 miles) from Ubud

    Get your adrenaline pumping with an exciting white water rafting adventure down the Ayung River. The rapids are suitable for beginners, and experienced guides will ensure your safety. Afterward, you can relax and enjoy a tasty buffet lunch with stunning views of the surrounding jungle. In the afternoon, visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, which offer breathtaking views of the rice paddies and the lush greenery surrounding them. Take a walk through the fields and learn about the traditional irrigation system used by the local farmers. In the evening, head back to Ubud for a delicious Balinese dinner.

  3. Day 3: Scuba Diving and Uluwatu Temple
    1 hour 20 minutes (22.7 miles) from Ubud

    Experience Bali's vibrant underwater world with a scuba diving adventure. Bali is home to a diverse range of marine life, including colourful fish, turtles, and even manta rays. There are plenty of dive sites to choose from, depending on your experience level. In the afternoon, visit the stunning Uluwatu Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. Watch a traditional Kecak dance performance while enjoying the beautiful sunset views. In the evening, head to Jimbaran Beach for a seafood dinner by the sea.

Or, if you're looking for a more relaxing experience, visit the Tirta Empul Temple and take a dip in the natural spring water. Another popular activity is taking a day trip to the nearby island of Nusa Penida, where you can explore stunning beaches and witness the famous Kelingking Beach. Don't forget to visit some of Bali's famous surf spots, such as Echo Beach and Uluwatu Beach.
