4-Day Honeymoon Itinerary for Delhi and Rajasthan in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Delhi
    Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) - 15.9 km (25 min) to Hotel

    Start your honeymoon in Delhi and check into your hotel. Spend the morning relaxing and adjusting to the time change. After lunch, visit the iconic Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, take a stroll through the vibrant Chandni Chowk market and try some delicious street food.

  2. Day 2: Agra
    233 km (3.5 hr) from Delhi to Agra

    Take a day trip to Agra to visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Arrive early to avoid the crowds and witness the sunrise over the stunning marble mausoleum. In the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore the history and architecture of the Mughal Empire.

  3. Day 3: Jaipur

End the day with a visit to the Jantar Mantar observatory, an astronomical wonder built in the early 18th century.

  4. Day 4: Udaipur
    397 km (6.5 hr) from Jaipur to Udaipur

    Travel to the romantic city of Udaipur, also known as the City of Lakes. Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola to admire the stunning views of the city and its palaces, including the famous Lake Palace. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace Museum to learn about the history and culture of Udaipur and see the beautiful architecture and artwork. End the day with a visit to the Saheliyon Ki Bari garden, a peaceful oasis with fountains, lotus pools and marble elephants.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider a visit to the holy city of Varanasi or the Ranthambore National Park for a chance to spot tigers.
