3-Day Itinerary for Goa in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Local Beaches
    30 minutes (14.5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, head to the famous Baga beach to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Enjoy some water sports, including parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. In the evening, visit the Anjuna beach and enjoy the sunset while listening to some live music.

  2. Day 2: Explore Historical Sites
    30 minutes (16.2 miles) from Anjuna Beach

    Start your morning by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the resting place of St. Francis Xavier. Afterward, head to the Se Cathedral, the largest church in Asia dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. In the afternoon, visit Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort, and lighthouse. Enjoy the scenic views of the Arabian Sea and Mandovi river. In the evening, take a walk around the historic Fontainhas neighborhood, also known as the Latin Quarter of Goa, and admire the colonial Portuguese architecture.

  3. Day 3: Discover Nature and Culture
    25 minutes (10.3 miles) from Fontainhas

    Start your day by visiting the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Afterward, head to the Spice Plantation to learn about the local spices of Goa and enjoy a traditional Goan meal. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Goa to learn about the history and culture of the state. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Mandovi river, which includes live music, dancing, and Goan cuisine.
