One day itinerary for Vijayapura Almatti Dam Badami in July 2023

  1. 9:00AM: Badami Cave Temples

    Explore the beautiful rock-cut cave temples that date back to the 6th and 7th centuries. The intricate carvings and sculptures depict various Hindu deities and mythological scenes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there are a lot of stairs to climb.

    Visit one of the largest dams in India, Almatti Dam, which provides irrigation and hydroelectric power to the surrounding areas. Take a walk along the dam and enjoy the beautiful views of the river. The dam also has a garden and a musical fountain show in the evenings.
