Recommendations

Make sure to book accommodation in advance as hotels in these locations can fill up quickly during peak season. Consider taking a guided tour of Hampi to learn more about the history and architecture of the site. If you have more time, you can also visit Jog Falls, which is about 120 km from Sakleshpura, and is one of India's tallest waterfalls.

For those who enjoy hiking and trekking, the Western Ghats offer several trails, including the Kumara Parvatha trek, which takes about 2 days to complete. Don't forget to try the local cuisine, which includes dishes like ragi mudde, akki rotti, and bisi bele bath.

Finally, make sure to check the weather forecast and pack accordingly, as July is the monsoon season in this region.
