End your trip with a visit to Levain Bakery, home of the famous chocolate chip walnut cookie. Be prepared to wait in line, but trust us, it's worth it. You can also try the oatmeal raisin or the dark chocolate peanut butter cookies.

Recommendations

If you're looking for more food options, check out the Brooklyn Flea, which features tons of food vendors in addition to vintage and handmade goods. If you're interested in a side trip, head upstate to the Hudson Valley for wine tasting and farm-to-table dining. To maximize your fun, consider taking a food tour of a specific neighborhood, such as Greenwich Village or Chinatown. And don't forget to bring a big appetite!
