3-Day Adventure Itinerary in Goa for August 2023

  1. Day 1: Scuba Diving at Grande Island
    1 hour (20 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    Begin your adventure in Goa by experiencing the underwater world with scuba diving at Grande Island. In the morning, head to the island by boat and explore the coral reefs, shipwrecks, and colorful marine life. After lunch, visit the Aguada Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fortification that offers stunning views of the coastline. Finally, watch the sunset at Anjuna Beach and grab some dinner at one of the beach shacks.

  2. Day 2: Trekking at Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (44 miles) from Anjuna Beach

    Embark on a thrilling trek to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. After breakfast, drive to the waterfall base and start your trek through the lush green forest. Swim in the natural pool formed at the bottom of the waterfall before heading back. In the afternoon, visit the historic Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. End your day at Baga Beach, known for its happening nightlife.

  3. Day 3: Parasailing at Calangute Beach
    20 minutes (5 miles) from Baga Beach

    For your last day in Goa, get your adrenaline pumping with parasailing at Calangute Beach. In the morning, soar high above the Arabian Sea and enjoy the spectacular views of the coastline. After lunch, visit the Reis Magos Fort, a 16th-century fort that has been transformed into a cultural center. In the evening, take a sunset cruise along the Mandovi River and enjoy the live music and dance performances on board.

If you have more time, consider visiting the spice plantations in Ponda, the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary in Chorao Island, or the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. For side trips, you can take a day trip to the quaint village of Divar Island or the peaceful beaches of South Goa. To maximize your fun, try some of the water sports at Colva Beach or go kayaking in the backwaters of Nerul River.
