Long Beach is a secluded and peaceful beach with crystal clear water and a stunning view of the horizon. The beach is perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and enjoying water sports like swimming and kayaking.
The Phi Phi Viewpoint is a popular hiking trail that leads to a stunning vista of Phi Phi Island. The trail is moderately challenging, but the view at the top is worth the effort. Take plenty of water and wear proper footwear for this hike.
Phi Phi Island is a small island with no cars, so the only modes of transportation are walking or hiring a longtail boat. To get to Phi Phi Island, take a ferry from Phuket or Krabi. The ferry ride takes approximately 2 hours from Phuket and 90 minutes from Krabi. The cost is around 600-800 THB per person.
If you have more time, consider adding a visit to Maya Bay, one of the most famous beaches in Thailand, or Monkey Beach, where you can observe wild monkeys. If you have less time, you can shorten the hike to Phi Phi Viewpoint or spend more time sunbathing on Long Beach.
Phi Phi Island has no airport. The nearest airports are Phuket International Airport (HKT) and Krabi International Airport (KBV). Both airports have direct flights from Bangkok and other major cities in Thailand. From the airport, take a taxi or shuttle bus to the ferry pier.
