Honeymoon Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Beaches of North Goa
    1 hour (22.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to Anjuna Beach to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and take a dip in the Arabian Sea. For lunch, stop by Curlies Shack in Anjuna for some delicious seafood. Spend the afternoon at Baga Beach, where you can try some water sports like parasailing or jet skiing. In the evening, visit Arambol Beach to watch the sunset and enjoy the hippie vibe at the shacks along the beach.

  2. Day 2: Visit the Churches and Forts of Old Goa
    1 hour 20 minutes (30 km) from Arambol Beach

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. Then, head to Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia, to admire its stunning architecture. For lunch, stop by Vinayak Family Restaurant in Panaji for some authentic Goan cuisine. Spend the afternoon at Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort, and enjoy the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, take a stroll in the quaint Latin Quarter of Fontainhas and admire the colorful Portuguese-style houses.

  3. Day 3: Relax and Unwind in South Goa
    1 hour 15 minutes (35 km) from Fontainhas

    In the morning, visit the secluded Palolem Beach and go for a swim in its crystal-clear waters. For lunch, stop by Dropadi in Palolem for some lip-smacking Indian food. Spend the afternoon at Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, and take a dip in its refreshing waters. In the evening, visit the Cabo de Rama Fort, an ancient fort with a rich history, and watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea.

Some other local attractions and experiences that you may consider include visiting the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, taking a Spice Plantation Tour, and cruising along the Mandovi River.
