On your last day, visit the lush Talesh mountains and forests. It is a great opportunity to escape the city and appreciate nature. If you have more time it is highly recommended to visit Lahijan for its lush tea garden, and Khalkhal for skiing, and Rudbar for mountaineering. Alternatively, if you have less time you may consider skipping some of the destinations depending on your personal interests.
Rasht airport (RAS) is the nearest airport located one kilometer south of the city. Buses, taxis and car rentals are available to travel to the various landmarks of Rasht. Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) is approximately 4 hours ride via a taxi, and Namangan Airport (NMA) is about an hour drive from Rasht.
