Kerala Family Friendly Itinerary for August 2023

  1. Day 1: Kochi
    30 minutes (22 km) from Kochi International Airport

    Morning: Visit the Mattancherry Palace, a 16th-century Portuguese palace featuring Hindu murals and traditional Keralan architecture. Afternoon: Head to the Fort Kochi Beach and check out the Chinese fishing nets, an iconic landmark of Kochi. Evening: Catch a traditional Kathakali dance performance at the Kerala Kathakali Centre, showcasing the traditional art form of Kerala.

  2. Day 2: Munnar
    4 hours and 30 minutes (130 km) from Kochi

    Morning: Take a scenic drive to the top of the hill station and check out the panoramic views of the tea gardens at the Pothamedu View Point. Afternoon: Visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea in Munnar and take a guided tour of the local tea factory. Evening: Head to the Chinnakanal Waterfalls for a relaxing picnic and to enjoy the beautiful views.
