Kerala 3-Day Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kochi
    30 minutes (20.5 km) from Cochin International Airport

    In the morning, visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi beach. These beautiful nets are used for fishing and make for a great photo op. Afterward, explore the historic Fort Kochi area that features Dutch, Portuguese, and British colonial architecture. In the afternoon, visit the stunning Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, which is home to many murals depicting the Hindu epics. In the evening, attend a Kathakali dance performance, a traditional Indian dance-drama that originated in Kerala.

  2. Day 2: Munnar
    4 hours and 30 minutes (130 km) from Kochi

    In the morning, drive to Munnar, a scenic hill station known for its tea plantations. Visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea in the region and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea. In the afternoon, visit the breathtaking Top Station viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the Western Ghats mountain range. Finally, take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Eravikulam National Park, home to a variety of flora and fauna.

  3. Day 3: Alleppey
    3 hours and 30 minutes (83 km) from Munnar

    In the morning, drive to Alleppey, known for its picturesque backwaters. Take a relaxing boat ride through the backwaters and enjoy the quiet and serene atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit the Marari Beach, a beautiful and clean beach that is perfect for swimming or just lounging in the sun.
