If you have an extra day, visit the vibrant Latin Quarter of Panaji, the capital city of Goa. You can also take a day trip to the spice plantations in Ponda or visit the ancient rock-cut caves of Ellora and Ajanta. To maximize your fun, try the delicious Goan cuisine such as vindaloo, sorpotel, and fish curry. Don't forget to shop for some souvenirs such as cashew nuts and feni.
