A Day Exploring Nashik's City Experiences

    15 minutes (3 miles) from Kalaram Temple

    The Sita Gufaa Caves are ancient caves that are said to have been used by Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana during their exile. The caves are located in Panchavati and are surrounded by lush greenery. Take a stroll around the caves and listen to the stories from the locals.

  6. 6:00 PM: Shopping at Saraf Bazaar
    10 minutes (2 miles) from Sita Gufaa Caves

    End your day by exploring the Saraf Bazaar, which is famous for its jewelry shops. You can find some stunning gold and silver jewelry, as well as traditional Maharashtrian jewelry. The bazaar also has shops selling handicrafts, clothes, and accessories.

Recommendations:

If you have time, you can also visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple, which is around 25 minutes away from Nashik. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can also take a side trip to the Dudhsagar Falls, which are around 2 hours away from the city. If you want to maximize your fun, you can take a hot air balloon ride over the vineyards, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.
