Gol Gumbaz is a mausoleum of the seventh ruler of the Adil Shahi dynasty, Mohammad Adil Shah. The main attraction is the central dome that is the second-largest in the world after St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Visitors can also explore the Whispering Gallery, which has amazing acoustics that allows a whisper to travel across the gallery and be clearly heard over 100 feet away.

The Jami Masjid or Jod Gumbaz is the largest mosque in Vijayapura. The mosque has a beautiful architectural design with an expansive prayer hall and symmetrical minarets on either side. The complex also includes a well-known pond called the Uppali Burj that adds to the beauty of the structure.
The fort was built by Yusuf Adil Shah to safeguard the state from the Mughal invasion. The fort has many structures inside, including a palace, a temple, and a mosque. The citadel of the fort also provides a great panoramic view of the city.
