Five-Day Adventure Itinerary for Thailand in March 2024

  1. Day 1: Bangkok
    15 minutes (6.5 miles) from Suvarnabhumi Airport

    Start your adventure in Bangkok by visiting the famous Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew in the morning. After lunch, head to the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the world's largest outdoor markets, to shop for souvenirs and local goods. In the evening, take a sunset tuk-tuk tour of the city and visit some of the best street food stalls in Bangkok.

  2. Day 2: Chiang Mai
    1 hour 15 minutes (430 miles) from Bangkok

    Head to Chiang Mai, the adventure capital of Thailand. In the morning, visit Doi Inthanon National Park, known for its stunning waterfalls and hiking trails. After lunch, explore the ancient city of Wiang Kum Kam, a hidden gem full of history and culture. In the evening, visit the famous Chiang Mai Night Bazaar for some shopping and street food.

  3. Day 3: Pai
    3 hours (80 miles) from Chiang Mai

    Take a scenic drive to the charming town of Pai, nestled in the mountains. In the morning, visit Pai Canyon, a natural wonder with stunning views and hiking trails. After lunch, visit the Land Split, a unique farm with a crack in the land caused by an earthquake. In the evening, relax in one of the town's hot springs and stargaze.

  4. Day 4: Krabi
    9 hours (240 miles) from Pai

    Head to Krabi, known for its beautiful beaches and limestone cliffs. In the morning, take a longtail boat to Railay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. After lunch, explore the Phra Nang Cave, a magical cave with stalactites and stalagmites. In the evening, take a sunset kayak tour through the mangroves.

  5. Day 5: Koh Samui
    2 hours 45 minutes (140 miles) from Krabi

    End your adventure on the tropical island of Koh Samui. In the morning, take a cooking class and learn how to make traditional Thai dishes. After lunch, visit the Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks, also known as the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks, for a unique photo opportunity. In the evening, take a sunset cruise around the island and enjoy the stunning views.
