Recommendations

If you have more time, consider going on a liveaboard trip to explore more of the Maldives' beautiful coral reefs and marine life. You can also visit the Maldives Victory Wreck, an old cargo ship that sank in 1981 and is now a popular diving spot. Another side trip is to the nearby island of Maalhos to swim with whale sharks. Make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent, and don't forget to try the local coconut water and seafood.
