Kasol 3-Day Itinerary in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Trek to Kheerganga
    2 hours 30 minutes (9.3 miles) from Kasol

    Start your day early and head towards Barsheni village, which is the starting point of the Kheerganga trek. The trek is around 13 km long and takes approximately 5-6 hours. You will pass through dense forests, scenic waterfalls, and the beautiful Parvati valley. Once you reach Kheerganga, take a dip in the hot water spring and relax. In the evening, enjoy the mesmerizing sunset and the view of the snow-capped mountains. You can also try some local food at the cafes in Kheerganga.

  2. Day 2: Visit Tosh Village and Malana
    1 hour 20 minutes (12.7 miles) from Kasol to Tosh Village and 1 hour 10 minutes (23.1 miles) from Tosh Village to Malana

    Start your day with a visit to the charming Tosh village. The village is located at an altitude of 2400m and offers breathtaking views of the Parvati valley. Take a leisurely walk around the village and explore its beautiful architecture and culture. In the afternoon, head towards the ancient village of Malana, which is known for its unique culture and traditions. Enjoy a walk around the village and try some local food. Note: Please be respectful of the local culture and do not touch anything in the village.

  3. Day 3: Explore Manikaran and Kasol
    30 minutes (3.7 miles) from Kasol to Manikaran

    Start your day by visiting the serene Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, which is considered a sacred place for Sikhs and Hindus. Take a dip in the hot water springs and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon, head back to Kasol and explore the local cafes and shops. You can also take a stroll around the Parvati river and enjoy the scenic views. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and some local music at one of the cafes in Kasol.
