4-Day Itinerary for Goa in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Panaji
    30 minutes (13.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, take a stroll through the historic Latin Quarter of Fontainhas and admire the traditional Portuguese-style architecture. After lunch, visit the famous 17th-century Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, located in the heart of Panaji. In the evening, head to the Miramar beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Visit Old Goa
    30 minutes (10.7 km) from Panaji
    Time Estimate: 4-5 hours

    In the morning, visit the Bom Jesus Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous churches in Goa. After lunch, explore the Se Cathedral and the Archaeological Museum of Old Goa. In the evening, relax at the nearby Mandovi riverfront and enjoy the scenic view.

  3. Day 3: Beach Hopping

    Start with a morning at Baga Beach, one of the most popular beaches in North Goa. Spend the afternoon at Calangute Beach, known for its water sports activities. In the evening, head to Anjuna Beach, famous for its vibrant nightlife and flea market.

  4. Day 4: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1.5 hours (60 km) from Anjuna Beach
    Time Estimate: Full Day

    In the morning, head to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the refreshing waters and enjoy the scenic views. After lunch, visit the nearby Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th century Shiva temple located in the midst of a dense forest. Return to your hotel in the evening.
