Exploring Kodaikanal in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Bryant Park
    10 minutes (2.1 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Start your day early at Bryant Park, which opens at 8:00 AM. This 20-acre botanical garden boasts of over 700 varieties of trees, shrubs, and cacti. You can spend your morning here walking around the park, taking in the flora, and enjoying the fresh air. If you're lucky, you might even catch the flower show that takes place here in June. After lunch, head to the nearby Kodaikanal Lake, which is just a 10-minute walk away. Here, you can take a leisurely boat ride or simply relax by the lake. In the evening, head to the Coaker's Walk, which is a scenic path that offers stunning views of the valley below. Don't forget to bring your camera!

  2. Day 2: Pillar Rocks
    8 minutes (3.4 km) from Coaker's Walk

    Start your day by visiting the Pillar Rocks, which are a set of three giant rock pillars that stand at a height of 400 feet. The view from here is breathtaking and is a must-see when in Kodaikanal. After spending the morning here, head to the nearby Guna Caves, which is a set of two caves that are said to have been formed naturally. It's a 20-minute walk from the Pillar Rocks to the Guna Caves. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Green Valley View, which provides stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You can have a picnic here or simply relax and enjoy the view.
