4-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary in Hunsur, Dharmastala, and Nethravathi Peak

  1. Day 1: Hunsur
    1 hour 45 minutes (60 miles) from Mysore

    In the morning, explore the Hunsur town and visit the Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple. After lunch, ride to the Ermayi stream to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take a refreshing dip in the water. In the evening, head to the Ettina Bhuja trek and witness the beautiful sunset from the hilltop.

  2. Day 2: Dharmastala
    2 hours 15 minutes (80 miles) from Hunsur

    Start your day by visiting the Shree Kordabbu Daivastana Hosabettu, a popular temple of the region and learn about its fascinating history. In the afternoon, ride to the Bahubali Statue and the Manjunatha Temple in Dharmastala. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful stroll in the beautiful garden of the temple.

  3. Day 3: Nethravathi Peak
    2 hours (70 miles) from Dharmastala

    In the morning, ride to the Nethravathi Peak and take a challenging trek to witness the stunning views from the top. Afterward, visit the nearby waterfalls and relax amidst nature. Enjoy the sunset from the mountain ridge in the evening.

  4. Day 4: Departure
    4 hours (160 miles) from Nethravathi Peak to Bangalore

    Depart from Nethravathi Peak and head back to Bangalore to catch your flight. En route, stop for breakfast at one of the many roadside eateries and enjoy some authentic local cuisine.

Recommendations

If you have some extra time, consider visiting the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can have a unique experience of bathing and feeding elephants. You can also take a side trip to the beautiful Kukke Subramanya Temple, located in the Western Ghats.
