4-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Gujarat in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Ahmedabad
    Approximately 7 hours (480 km) from Mumbai
    Start your day with a visit to the Sabarmati Ashram, the former home of Mahatma Gandhi. Learn about his life and philosophy through the exhibits and artifacts on display. In the afternoon, visit the Calico Museum of Textiles to see the beautiful and intricate textiles of Gujarat. End your day at Kankaria Lake, a popular spot for boating and a light and sound show in the evening.
  2. Day 2: Bhuj
    Approximately 7 hours (350 km) from Ahmedabad
    Start your day at the Kutch Museum, known for its collection of Kshatrapa inscriptions, and other ancient artifacts. Visit the Aina Mahal, a former palace that now houses a museum of Kutchi art and artifacts. In the evening, visit the Hamirsar Lake and enjoy the sunset view.
  3. Day 3: Somnath and Gir
