Recommendations

If you have extra time, you can visit the Gupt Godavari Caves in Chitrakoot, which is believed to be the place where Lord Rama and Lakshmana stayed during their exile. Another place to visit is the Kali Khoh, a cave temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. You can also plan a side trip to the nearby city of Satna, which is famous for its ancient temples and historical monuments.

To maximize your fun, try to visit these places during the off-season to avoid the crowds. Don't forget to carry comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a hat as the weather can be unpredictable. Lastly, try the local cuisine, especially the chaat and poha, which are popular dishes in the region.
