    Haridwar, the 'Gateway to God', is a holy city situated at the confluence of the Ganges and the Yamuna rivers. Start your morning by taking a refreshing dip in the Ganges at Har Ki Pauri, a famous ghat with steps leading down to the river. In the afternoon, visit the Chandi Devi Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Chandi situated on Neel Parvat hill, and take a cable car ride to reach the top. In the evening, attend the Har Ki Pauri Ganga Aarti, the most famous ritual of Haridwar, and witness the grandeur of the ceremony.
