Family Friendly 3-Day Itinerary for Nashik in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Pandavleni Caves
    20 minutes (8.3 km) from Nashik Road Railway Station

    Start your morning at the Pandavleni Caves, a group of 24 Buddhist caves from the 1st century BC. Explore the ancient rock-cut architecture, sculptures, and inscriptions. In the afternoon, visit the Sula Vineyards, one of India's most popular wineries. Take a guided tour of the vineyard, learn about the winemaking process, and taste some of their award-winning wines. End your day with a relaxing evening boat ride on Gangapur Dam, enjoying the picturesque sunset.

  2. Day 2: Someshwar Waterfall

    Begin your day with a visit to the Someshwar Waterfall, a majestic waterfall located in the lush greenery and scenic surroundings of the Gangapur dam catchment area. Enjoy a dip in the cool waters and relax in the tranquillity of nature. In the afternoon, visit the Coin Museum, which houses over 3,000 coins from different periods of Indian history.   3. Day 3: Trimbakeshwar Temple
    1 hour 10 minutes (30.7 km) from Nashik City Centre Mall

    Start your day with a visit to the Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located on the banks of the Godavari River. In the afternoon, visit the Anjaneri Hills, the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Trek to the top of the hills to witness the panoramic views of the city and the magnificent sunset. End your day with a visit to the Panchavati Ghat, a popular place to witness the evening aarti ceremony.
