  1. Day 1: Visit the Living Root Bridges of Cherrapunji

  3. Day 3: Trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge of Nongriat
    2 hours 20 minutes (70.6 km) from Shillong

    Start your day early and head to the village of Tyrna to begin your trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge of Nongriat. The trek takes about 2-3 hours, depending on your pace, and requires a descent of over 3,000 steps. However, the trek is worth it as you will be rewarded with stunning views of the rainforest, waterfalls, and the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Spend the day at Nongriat village, swimming in the natural pools, and trekking to other nearby waterfalls. In the evening, trek back to Tyrna and head back to Shillong.
