3-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    1 hour 10 minutes (25 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, take a dip in the clear waters of Calangute Beach, the largest beach in North Goa. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at any of the beach shacks and try some local Goan delicacies like poi and vindaloo. In the afternoon, stroll along the beach and do some shopping at the street markets where you can find anything from souvenirs to beachwear. End the day by watching a beautiful sunset while sipping on a refreshing cocktail.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 55 minutes (47 miles) from Calangute Beach

    Start your day early and head out to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in India. It is a four-tiered waterfall with a height of 310 meters and is located on the Mandovi River. Enjoy a scenic train ride through the Western Ghats to reach the falls. Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters and enjoy the view of the surrounding greenery. On your way back, stop at a spice plantation to learn about the various spices grown in Goa.

  3. Day 3: Reis Magos Fort
    30 minutes (8 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Visit the historic Reis Magos Fort, built in the 16th century and restored in 2012. Learn about the Portuguese influence on Goan culture and see the various exhibits that showcase the history of the fort. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, home to over 400 species of birds. Take a leisurely boat ride through the mangroves and spot some exotic birds along the way. End the day with a stunning view of the sunset at Fort Aguada.

Aside from the places mentioned, you can also check out the beautiful beaches of Anjuna and Baga, or take a day trip to the charming Latin quarter of Fontainhas in Panaji.
