Plan in for extra driving time due to narrow and winding mountain roads. The cost of the car rental is approximately €200-€300 for the entire trip, depending on the car type and rental agency.
If you have more time, consider skiing at Cortina d'Ampezzo or hiking through the Passo delle Erbe. For short trips, take a cable car ride in Cortina, visit Lake Carezza or explore the Renon high plateau. If you have less time, cut one of the two highest peaks from day 4 and day 5 to adjust.
