Three-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Anjuna Beach
    45 minutes (17.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Start your trip with an early morning visit to Anjuna Beach, famous for its red cliffs and stunning sunsets. Take a leisurely stroll along the shore, then head to one of the many beach shacks for breakfast.

    Afternoon: Visit the historic St. Michael's Church in nearby Anjuna Village. This 16th-century church is a stunning example of Portuguese architecture and is famous for its beautiful murals and wooden statues.

    Evening: Return to Anjuna Beach for a relaxing evening. Enjoy dinner at a beachside restaurant and watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 15 minutes (80 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Morning: Depart early for a visit to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool at the base of the falls.

    Afternoon: Take a guided tour of the spice plantations in the area and learn about the different spices used in Indian cuisine. Enjoy a traditional lunch in the plantation.

    Evening: Return to Anjuna Beach and relax for the rest of the evening.

  3. Day 3: Old Goa
    1 hour 20 minutes (30 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Morning: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Goa, the former colonial capital of Portuguese India. Explore the magnificent churches and cathedrals, including the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier.

    Afternoon: Take a leisurely stroll along the Mandovi River and enjoy a river cruise. Sample some of the delicious local cuisine, including fresh seafood and traditional Goan sweets.

    Evening: Head to the vibrant Latin Quarter of Fontainhas for a taste of Goan nightlife. Enjoy live music, dancing, and delicious cocktails.
