3-Day Itinerary for Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Beaches of Goa
    20 minutes (8.4 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your journey by visiting the Ashwem beach, famous for its serene environment and picturesque views. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Christian Art, which is located within the Convent of Santa Monica. The museum houses a collection of Christian art, including paintings, sculptures, and textiles. In the evening, head to Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Panaji, and explore the quaint streets filled with brightly coloured houses and art galleries.

  3. Day 3: Experience the Culture of Goa

    Start your day by visiting the Shanta Durga Temple, located in the small village of Kavalem. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of peace and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. After the temple, head to the Spice Plantation, located in Ponda. Here you can take a tour of the plantation and learn about the various spices grown in Goa. You can also enjoy a delicious Goan lunch, prepared using fresh spices grown on the plantation. In the evening, visit a local dance performance, which showcases the traditional dance forms of Goa, including the Fugdi, Dekhnni, and Dhangar.
