Recommendations

If you have time, you should also consider visiting the Athirapally Waterfalls, one of the largest waterfalls in Kerala. Side trips to Ooty or Kodaikanal are also highly recommended if you're interested in exploring more hill stations. To maximize your fun, you can also go trekking, camping, or birdwatching in any of these destinations. For a more relaxed experience, you can also try Ayurvedic massages and spa treatments that are popular in Kerala. Whatever you do, don't forget to try the local cuisine, especially the coconut-based dishes that are unique to this region.
